My Story

I'm Attila Varga, and I've dedicated my life to martial arts since 1986. That's nearly 40 years of combat sports, training, teaching, and learning.

I'm a BJJ Black Belt representing Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the UK (Slough). I'm a Muay Thai and Boxing trainer. I'm a StrongFirst Kettlebell instructor.

But more importantly, I'm someone who has been in the trenches. I've trained hard. I've been injured. I've recovered. I've seen thousands of athletes get injured and watched many struggle to come back.

Why I Built PowerUp Lifestyle

I'm over 50 now. I've accumulated 40 years of injuries, setbacks, and lessons learned the hard way. I've also learned what actually works.

The truth? Most athletes train wrong. They build strength without building durability. They train for performance without building the foundation that prevents injuries.

I got tired of seeing athletes suffer the same injuries I suffered. I got tired of watching people give up on their sports because of preventable injuries.
